Gamers can watch the matches to learn some new tactics

Major League Gaming and publisher Activision announce that on June 20 the two companies will mark the start of the new MLG Championship in Anaheim, which will take place over three days and will include two separate tournaments featuring Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The total prize pool includes no less than 80,000 dollars (58,000 Euro) and four sports in the MLG Call of Duty League Season 3.

The team that will battle in one Ghosts tournament include, according to the official announcement: Evil Geniuses, OpTic Gaming, EnVyUs, FaZe Black, Cure Black, FaZe Red, Denial eSports, Team Kaliber, Epsilon, TCM Gaming and Curse Australia.

The MLG and Activision add, "Also in competition at MLG Championship Anaheim is a 192-team League Play-In Tournament. Curse Orange, JusTus, OpTic Nation, Strictly Business, VexX Gaming, and more will compete for $10,000, 10,000 Pro Points, and four spots in Season 3 of the MLG Call of Duty League."

Gamers can follow the Anaheim tournaments starting on Friday, June 20 at 2:30 PM Pacific Daylight Time over the web and on the special apps running on the Xbox 360, iOS and Android.

Developer Sledgehammer Games and Activision are working on a new Call of Duty title, called Advanced Warfare, which will be launched on November 4 on the PC, the Xbox One, the PS4 and current gen consoles.
