The NPD Group announces that Call of Duty: Ghosts, from Infinity Ward and Activision, is the best-selling video game for the month of November on the United States market, beating the rival Battlefield 4, created by DICE and Electronic Arts.

The rest of the top ten includes, according to VG247:

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Madden NFL 25 Grand Theft Auto V NBA 2K14 Skylanders Swap Force Just Dance 2014 Disney Infinity FIFA 14

The problem with the chart is that it does not include any exclusive titles for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, which were also launched in November.

The situation is made worse by the fact that software sales in the United States have decline by 24 percent and the NPD Group says that the figure includes PC and portable games.

The figures do not include digital sales, used games and DLC, which are all becoming ever more important to the industry.
