14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Infinity Ward and publisher Electronic Arts are announcing that they are collaborating with a number of fans in order to give players a look at the new Awakening episode for the Extinction storyline, which is part of the new Invasion DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The official site states, “As part of the CIF Team, descend into an alien underworld and strike at the mysterious puppet-masters behind the Cryptid invasion. Three new Cryptid species await players, along with some familiar enemies and allies.”
There are three videos available, created by long-term fans of the Call of Duty franchise, each of them showing how gamers will be able to approach the same situations.
The Invasion downloadable content pack will also include four maps, three entirely original ones that introduce interesting takes on killstreaks and a remake of the fan favorite Favela from Modern Warfare 2.
The new content will be offered first on the Xbox One and on the 360 later today.
At the moment, Infinity Ward has one more DLC in development for Ghosts, which will probably be launched in August.
A new Call of Duty title, called Advanced Warfare, will arrive in November of this year, under the guidance of Sledgehammer Games.
