14 DAY TRIAL // Call of Duty: Ghosts will have a special multiplayer mode called Extinction, which seemingly allows players to battle aliens in a new type of encounter.
Call of Duty: Ghosts takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in which the U.S. was ravaged by a surprise attack from South American countries.
While the single-player and main multiplayer modes will focus on this conflict, it seems that a new experience will be incorporated in the shooter, called Extinction.
The mode, as far as we can tell from an album of screenshots posted by Smtkz, lets players fight against a race of aliens in special matches.
Players also need to guard special drills that are making their way to the alien hive in order to destroy it. Like in the regular multiplayer, players can choose various classes and bonuses to help them in battle.
