14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Infinity Ward and publisher Activision are ready to officially announce the existence of Devastation, the new downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts, which is set to be delivered on Xbox platforms on April 3.
The new DLC is set to include more maps for gamers to explore, a new weapon for them to battle enemies with, the already revealed Ripper, and new story-based content is also offered.
Gamers who are playing Call of Duty: Ghosts on another platform will need to wait for about one month before they get access to Devastation.
The four new included maps are called: Ruins, Collision, Unearthed, and Behemoth, and all of them are designed for close to medium range engagements.
There are another two DLC packs being created at Infinity Ward for the first-person shooter and they are expected to be launched in May and later in the summer.
A new Call of Duty title is already in development at Sledgehammer Entertainment and will be launched in the fall of this year.
Infinity Ward and Activision are also offering a free multiplayer demo for Ghosts starting on Friday, March 7, which includes three multiplayer maps: Strikezone, Warhawk, and Prison Break.
