Microsoft, Activision, and Major League Gaming have confirmed that they'll hold the second annual Call of Duty Championship this spring with 32 teams competition in Call of Duty: Ghosts for $1 million (€735,000) in prizes.

Call of Duty: Ghosts appeared last November and, since then, developer Infinity Ward has updated the game with many regular improvements but also different enhancements to make it feasible in eSports competitions.

Now, MLG has revealed that the second annual Call of Duty Championship will be held this spring featuring Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Qualifying tournaments on the Xbox 360 will be held throughout January, February, and March, alongside regional finals for Australia, the UK, and the US.

The finals will take place between March 28 and will see the 32 teams play Ghosts on the Xbox One next-gen console.
