Treyarch has just unveiled the first teaser image for the cooperative Zombies mode that will be included in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops II title.

Without a doubt the biggest announcement of the week was Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which is set to deliver a whole new experience in the long running series.

A big improvement will be recorded in the game’s cooperative Zombies mode, as developer Treyarch is using the engine from the multiplayer to allow more players to fight against the undead during matches.

While nothing else is known, the first teaser image for the mode has now been posted on the game’s Facebook page, alongside the message: “Zombies are coming...... Where's your shotgun?”

As you can see, there’s a distinct post-apocalyptic vibe to the image and it seems that female characters will once again be present in the mode, after the Rezurrection DLC for Black Ops 1 added Buffy the Vampire Slayer to the game.

Expect to hear some more details about the Zombies experience in Black Ops II in the near future.
