Video game publisher Activision and the team at Valve have announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is free to play on the Steam digital distribution service for the weekend and that all games from the company are available with significant price cuts.

The offers are available until Monday and a clear picture of the prices for all the included titles can be seen on the special Activision sale Steam page.

New deals will be announced on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Gamers who are interested in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 need to know that only the multiplayer side of the game, complete with all the DLC packages, is playable.

Activision is working with Infinity Ward to create Call of Duty: Ghosts, which will be launched all over the world on November 5 on the PC, the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and the Wii U.
