A brand new report has appeared online concerning the technical performance of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on the Xbox One, claiming that its native resolution might be larger than the one for Call of Duty: Ghosts on the same console, i.e. 720p.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was revealed to the world last week via a gameplay video that claimed right at the beginning that it contained footage from the Xbox One edition of the game.

After a thorough technical analysis from Digital Foundry, it seems that the video confirms a native resolution higher than 720p.

Call of Duty: Ghosts, last year's entry in the series, created a huge controversy when it was confirmed that it was running at a native resolution of 720p on the Xbox One and 1080p on the PS4.

According to the website, the native resolution of Advanced Warfare might be around 900p, with a more specific estimate being 1568x882 (882p).

Bear in mind, however, that the game is still in development and will no doubt suffer changes as we get closer to its actual launch on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 4. Until then, expect to hear much more about the its performance.
