Publisher Activision has announced that the first Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare downloadable content pack will be released in 2015.

The game is out worldwide, enabling PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC users to enjoy the next chapter in the Call of Duty saga, this time around with a unique science fiction flavor and a host of neat gameplay innovations.

Developer Sledgehammer Games has four expansion packs planned for the military first-person shooter, scheduled to drop over the duration of 2015, going for $ / €15 each, or bundled together in the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Season Pass, priced at $ / €50.

Gamers who opt to make the purchase early will gain exclusive access to the Atlas Gorge multiplayer map, a remake of the Pipeline map, hailing from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Although the first piece of DLC won't drop until 2015, the bonus map is available starting right now.

For the time being, there is no additional information on the four planned expansions, other than their names, Havoc, Ascendance, Supremacy, and Reckoning, and that a zombie survival mode will also be included in the Season Pass.

As per Activision and Microsoft's deal, all DLC will be released on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One home consoles first, and later on for the PC, PS3 and PS4.
