Marek Ziemak, a gameplay producer at CD Projekt RED, says that his company aims to keep the garage development climate that helped develop the first two Witcher video games as it creates the third game in the series and the new Cyberpunk 2077.

He says that the studio at the moment employs 180 people, which is a big number considering their origins, but it cannot really compare with other companies that are owned by big publishers.

He tells Gamasutra that “We're trying to keep this garage development climate. It's very hard at this size, but it brings us a lot of positive elements. People have more freedom to make decisions, and it's more crazy to work in an environment like this.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is at the moment set to launch on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, and the Xbox One from Microsoft in the spring of 2014.
