Bungie plans on improving the native resolution by September 9

Bungie has confirmed that the Destiny beta will not run at a 1080p native resolution on the Xbox One, but that it wants to improve things until the game's final release in September.

Destiny is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and Bungie has already promised to push the new and old consoles to their limits with the multiplayer first-person shooter.

Unfortunately, it seems that things are still not going as smoothly as possible, as Bungie has confirmed to IGN that the Destiny beta stage on the Xbox One won't run at a 1080p native resolution.

However, at launch, the studio has pledged to improve the game's performance and ensure that it reaches the gold standard for native resolutions of 1080p.

As such, expect during the Destiny beta to see some tearing and other visual problems on the Xbox One due to the upscaling performed by the console so that the final output of the game reaches 1080p.

While it may seem that Bungie has little time to perform any improvements, considering that the game debuts on September 9, it was only able to start implementing them last month, when Microsoft allowed developers more access to the GPU reserve of the Xbox One.
