A fresh off-screen Bloodborne gameplay video has popped up on the Internet, showing an adept Dark Souls-er at work, and even managing to take down a boss.

Bloodborne is an upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive action-adventure video game from the creators of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, which makes it a pretty challenging affair.

Since developer From Software mentioned several times that it was going to take the same largely unforgiving approach it did in its previous game for Bloodborne, that means that playing it right will be quite challenging.

This was evidenced at the recent Tokyo Game Show exposition, where a demo of the game was available for attendees to try out, at the Sony booth, but most of the official footage that transpired from the convention involved journalists trying their hand at braving the title's perils.

The latest video shows the valiant efforts of many a player, with some managing to take on the harsh challenge and emerge victorious, even taking down one of the game's bosses, which are notoriously difficult and most of the time require flawless mechanical execution.

Bloodborne is scheduled to come to the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system from Sony, on February 5, 2015, in Japan, and on February 6 in Europe and North America.
