14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Cyanide and publisher Focus Home Interactive are ready to offer fans of the Blood Bowl franchise, originally created by Games Workshop, a first look at how the Dwarf team will look in the second title in the series.
The company explains that the new race is proud of its abilities, despite its limited size, and tends to approach the game with more strength than finesse.
They add, “Their beards freshly trimmed and their Bugman's Beer mug locked to their belt, the Dwarfs finally enter the pitch of their newly inaugurated stadium! One thing is for sure: they're definitely not here to play the ball, and the Human team who have the honour (or misfortune) to face them first will certainly testify to that.”
Blood Bowl 2 is a unique video game experience that blends American football mechanics with the unique races of the Warhammer fantasy universe to create an experience that is in equal part violent and tactics-focused.
The new title includes a brand new graphics engine that delivers fluid animations, dynamic cameras, and a new Cabalvision mode.
Blood Bowl 2 will include both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing gamers to create their own team and leagues and challenge friends and enemies to competitive matches.
The Dwarves are only the third revealed race, after Humans and Orcs, from a total of eight.
