Video game developer Blizzard and its China-based partner Netease are launching a legal action against a company that has released a game called Legend of Crouching Dragon, which is very similar to the recently launched Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.

MMOCulture says that the two companies are aiming to get damages of about 10 million Chinese Yuan, which is about 1.65 million dollars (980,000 Euro).

The Chinese-made Legend of Crouching Dragon was mentioned as a Hearthstone clone since it was launched in late 2013 and it seems that at the moment, it has been blocked from download, although those who have already bought it can still play it.

Blizzard says that it is aiming to maintain a tough stance against clone games and that it is moving as fast as possible to take them down.

Hearthstone is at the moment in open beta in North America and gamers can try out the card-based title with no attached fees.
