The game will get harder on the higher difficulty levels

The development team at Blizzard has posted a new and detailed blog post which is designed to explain the changes that will be made to the crowd control mechanic of the action and role-playing game Diablo III in the coming patches.

The announcement reads: “We all agreed that the game needed to get harder at higher difficulty levels, but Jay didn't like this particular way that it was getting harder. Specifically, he didn't like that we diminished crowd control (CC) effects.”

Jay Wilson, who is the leading developer working on Diablo III, wanted to improve the system and the team worked on it after the game was launched.

With the biggest problems players have reported now solved, the team actually has the time to implement the changes.

Crowd-control effects will be reduced in the coming patches and the Blizzard development team delivers a full explanation of why and some examples of how the new mechanics will work in this in-depth blog post.
