14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Daedalic is announcing that Blackguards 2 is at the moment released and is delivering a launch trailer for the game, which is designed to show the community what it can expect from the experience.
The title uses The Dark Eye as its setting, a relatively unfamiliar fantasy world that focuses on offering complete freedom to players when it comes to the development of their characters.
The trailer does not offer a lot of information about the story, which has some surprising moments, but it mostly focuses on revenge and unpaid debts and offers a look at the turn-based battles that Blackguards 2 can develop and the way the main characters push the narrative forward.
Because the party can be customized in plenty of ways, the various encounters can play out in many interesting ways and it’s very nice to see the various player choices come together in order to deliver some solid results.

The sequel offers more mechanics than the original title in the series and it will be interesting to see how the role-playing community evaluates its unique mechanics.
