Gamers will also have to be careful when using their limited resources

Andres Gonzales, the lead level designer working on the Burial at Sea content for BioShock Infinite, says that the coming experience is designed to make players use more stealth during enemy encounters.

He tells IGN that, “We rebalanced everything to be more toward resource management and stealth, which changes the way that the encounters play. It’s more player-initiated. You hear enemies off in the distance.”

The developer says that the core mechanics of Infinite and the original BioShock are mixed in Burial at Sea.

Eve will be the most important resource and its availability is limited in order to create a sense of challenge for those who choose to go back to Rapture.

Burial at Sea is made up of two different DLC releases, the first of which will be delivered before the end of this year.

The second package, which will arrive in 2014, will allow gamers to play as Elizabeth for the first time.
