14 DAY TRIAL // The latest downloadable content pack for the fighting game Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has a new costume for the Nova characters that is linked to a big announcement that Marvel plans to make in the coming weeks.
Chris Baker, who is one of the comic book executives from Marvel collaborating with Capcom stated, “The truth is, I’m still not allowed to tell you what this Nova is from. I’ve seen it stated that this new look for Nova is based on his new look in the comics, specifically, MARVEL POINT ONE. Close! But wrong. You’ll find out soon, I’m told, but I’m sworn to secrecy until then.”
Marvel, which is now a division of Disney, has been recently revamping its comic line-up, cutting down the number of books that it publishes in order to respond to the reboot of the whole universe that DC Comic performed in 2011.
Nova might be getting her own series in the coming weeks.
