The development team at Visceral Games working on the beta version of Battlefield Hardline announces that it is planning to bring down the game at 1 AM Pacific Daylight Time for at least one hour in order to deliver a new update.

The information comes from the official Twitter account of the series and the team apologizes for the fact that gamers will be unable to engage with the first-person shooter for a limited period.

The company is not yet ready to talk about the actual contents of the update that’s being delivered to Battlefield Hardline and it’s unclear when it might be pushed to the other version of the beta, which is currently running on the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

Visceral Games has said that it wants the test period to show off some of the core features of the video game, while also giving it plenty of data that can help it improve the experience before the full launch.

The new title in the series will focus on the conflict between law enforcement and criminal cartels and aims to deliver a more dynamic and focused first-person shooter experience.

Battlefield Hardline will be offered on October 21 of this year all over the world on the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the PC and current-gen consoles.
