14 DAY TRIAL // Easter eggs, as in tiny surprises or outlandish things, are a key part of any Battlefield game, and with the upcoming Hardline installment, developer Visceral Games has decided to add some special reload animations that have a chance of triggering of about 1:10,000. Thankfully, quite a few beta participants have already found some of them and have posted videos.
Battlefield Hardline launches in March but yesterday saw the debut of the game's open beta stage on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms, allowing anyone interested in the new first-person shooter to try it out ahead of its debut next month.
As you can imagine, tens of thousands of fans have rushed to test the game, and with so many people, Hardline's surprises have started getting noticed.
Apparently, as special Easter eggs, the studio added a few outlandish reload animations to the game.
Some range from spooky third arms that hand the new magazine to players using the Star Wars Force or just throwing the rocket into the RPG.
You can check out a few videos of these new animations below, via Reddit, including one made by the team at Visceral in which it explains that most of these animations have a chance of 1:10,000 to trigger.
You can bet that a lot more such surprises will be noticed by fans as the beta continues.
