Much depends on how gamers react to the core release

Ever since Battlefield Hardline was first announced, fans of the series complained that it would be an inferior game because it was moving away from the classic military theme, but it seems that at least some military hardware might make it into the title after launch.

With the open beta ongoing at the moment, the developers at Visceral Games have been tackling some questions coming from the community.

One tidbit of information that emerged is that jets and maybe even tanks might be added via downloadable content packs, although much will depend on the choices the studio makes and the feedback offered by the community.

Battlefield Hardline might be focused on the battles between law enforcement and criminal gangs, but both of them are already using a load of military grade weapons and equipment.

Visceral Games says that some small tweaks to the mechanics of the shooter might be introduced based on data gathered from February 3 to February 8.

The full game will arrive in the middle of March and Visceral Games says that the experience will be more dynamic and focused on team play than any previous installment created by DICE.

No DLC schedule for it has been revealed yet.
