The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts want to make sure that all potential Battlefield 4 players understand exactly how to upgrade their game from the current-gen version to the ones launched for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

The title will be launched on October 29 in North America and on November 1 in Europe, and will be offered at launch on the new devices from Microsoft and Sony, and the code inside the game case can be used for the upgrade process.

The team explains that "We respect the time you will invest in playing and don’t want you to lose all of your effort when you upgrade to next-gen. That is why we are making it easy to carry forward your multiplayer stats and your Battlefield 4 Premium membership."

The elements that will transfer to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 include: rank, score, dog tags taken, vehicles destroyed, repairs, K/D ratio, wins, time played, service stars, revives, squad score, accuracy.

The special Battlefield 4 blog from DICE then goes on to list the details for the upgrade process depending on platform and retailer.
