The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are delivering a new video for their upcoming Battlefield 4, which focuses on the new Levolution mechanic and introduces the main elements of the Flood Zone map.

Thomas Andersson, the leading multiplayer designer working on the title, also explains how the team is using the new level editor to create complex maps that are built around dynamic events.

DICE states, "Dry narrow streets are ideal for land-based combat vehicles until the Levolution occurs and a nearby levee breaks, flooding the map."

Levolution will allow Battlefield 4 multiplayer to offer an experience that is constantly evolving, forcing gamers to adapt to changing conditions in the battlespace.

Battlefield 4 is created using the Frostbite 3 engine, which introduces more destruction and improved graphical fidelity.

DICE is also introducing new mechanics and more customization to its new shooter.
