DICE has confirmed that it's going to invest in better servers for Battlefield 4's multiplayer mode so that the dreaded rubber banding issues seen in 64-player matches will be eliminated.

Battlefield 4 came out last year across many different platforms but, unfortunately for quite a lot of players, the game experienced plenty of issues, bugs, and problems.

Developer DICE released many different updates across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms, but so far there are still some underlying issues that continue to plague the game, including the dreaded rubber banding problems that appear due to extreme lag and high latency.

Lately, 64-player matches have been really affected by these bugs so DICE has confirmed on the official blog that it's going to invest in getting better servers in order to ensure a proper multiplayer experience.

"We wanted to provide a quick update on the issues with Battlefield 4 “rubber-banding” some players on certain platforms experienced during matches with 64-players. Looking into this further, we’re unhappy with our server performance, so we’ll be upgrading the hardware as soon as possible, investing more to deliver a better experience," the studio said.

Unfortunately, there's no exact time frame for when the servers will be operational, but DICE assures players that reducing lag is a top priority and solutions are coming.
