The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are releasing a full list of specifications for their upcoming Battlefield 4, showing the minimum system that a fan will need to run the game and the kind of hardware that will deliver a solid experience with the title.

The minimum specs for the first-person shooter are rather unsurprising and will allow a wide array of PC players to run the game, although they should not expect to see all the graphical quality that the Frostbite 3 engine can deliver.

The recommended requirements for Battlefield 4 are a lot more demanding and they include top of the line CPUs from both AMD and Intel and the use of Windows 8.

At the same time, players are required to have 8 GB of RAM and powerful graphics cards, with at least 3 GB of memory of their own.

Battlefield 4 will be out on October 29 in North America and on November 1 in Europe on the PC and current-gen consoles.
