Battlefield 4 has just received the R13 server update across all platforms, adding the China Rising DLC to the game as well as implementing a few crash fixes.

Battlefield 4 has been plagued by plenty of errors and issues ever since its debut across the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One platforms, prompting crashes and issues both in the single-player campaign as well as in the multiplayer one.

In order to solve these problems, DICE released plenty of updates both for the game's client but also for its servers.

Now, the R13 patch for Battlefield 4 servers has gone live, according to an announcement made by DICE on Battlelog.

The new update brings support for the China Rising DLC maps and modes, as well as solutions to different crashes.

Check out the changelog below.

- Included China Rising maps and game mode - Fixed two common server crashes that were caused by bad, or out-of-date network data being sent from the game client - Fixed a server crash that was caused by placing the vars.teamXfactionOverride in the startup.txt file

The new update should go live across all servers within the next 24 hours.
