DICE has confirmed that it's going to debut two new patches for Battlefield 4 on the PS4 and PS3 consoles later today, January 14, and that some offline multiplayer periods might be encountered by users.

Ever since the release of Battlefield 4, DICE has been engaged in a constant battle against game-breaking bugs and glitches, releasing many different updates across all platforms, from PC, to PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, or Xbox One.

After launching the first update of 2014 for the PC yesterday, DICE has now confirmed that two new patches will debut later today, January 14, on the PS3 and PS4 platforms.

The updates should be available for download starting at 2am PDT (10am UTC) and the studio has warned on Battlelog that some downtime periods are expected during the rollout of the patch.
