DICE, the developer of Battlefield 4, has confirmed that it's investigating common crash error CE-34878-0 experienced by the first-person shooter on the PS4 console, but that a solution is a bit tricky to find as the message is displayed due to a variety of reasons.

Battlefield 4 on the PS4 hasn't been the most stable of experiences, as the game continues to be plagued by different issues despite the launch of many patches and updates.

Now, the studio has revealed that it's investigating another major problem for Battlefield 4 on the PS4, in the form of the CE-34878-0 crash error message.

Unfortunately, the code is a general one that it can be displayed by various issues, as such, the studio recommends on Battlelog that players submit the error reports and be as detailed as possible.

"You can help us to identify these individual issues by providing a few details in the crash report (we read all of them.) For example what game mode you were playing and on what map you crashed. Doing this will help us a lot to reproduce the issues and investigate fixes for them in upcoming patches."

Expect to see more updates for Battlefield 4 on the PS4 soon.
