Battlefield 4 received its Naval Strike add-on last week for those who owned the Battlefield 4 Premium bundle and now developer DICE has confirmed that regular players will be able to enjoy the expansion on April 15.

Battlefield 4 launched last November and, just like with Battlefield 3, publisher Electronic Arts and developer DICE offered fans the possibility of getting Battlefield 4 Premium, a special bundle that includes all the upcoming add-ons for the game, not to mention access to Double XP weekends and other such things.

The latest map pack for Battlefield 4, Naval Strike, made its debut last week for Premium users exclusively, across most platforms and reached the PC and Xbox One with a bit of a delay.

DICE has just confirmed that Naval Strike will hit all platforms for all users on April 15.

At that time, PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One owners will be able to buy the add-on and experience the four new maps, in the form of Lost Islands, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar, as well as the new mode, Carrier Assault, and the new vehicle, the Hovercraft.

Hopefully, until then, all issues with the add-on will be fixed and everyone can have a great time with it.
