The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are launching the first multiplayer update for Battlefield 4 via the Xbox Live service from Microsoft and are asking gamers to download it as soon as possible.

The update weighs in at 119 MB and the official text states, “This Battlefield 4 update contains improvements to the multiplayer portions of the game. We strongly advise you download it.”

The studio has not yet delivered a clear list of all the changes that are introduced, but one will probably be offered before the day ends.

Battlefield 4 is at the moment launched in the United States on the PC and current-gen consoles and European gamers will get access to it on November 1.

Much of the long-term popularity of the experience is linked to DICE’s ability to constantly deliver balance updates for the multiplayer modes.
