DICE has confirmed that the special Battlefield 4 Double XP Player Appreciation period has begun, offering twice the amount of XP within the multiplayer mode starting today, November 28, until December 5.

Battlefield 4 made its debut last month, and in recent weeks appeared on the next-gen PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

Unfortunately for owners of the game, plenty of issues affected both the single-player campaign and the multiplayer mode.

Developer DICE launched quite a few patches and updates across all platforms but the game is still problematic.

In order to make it up to fans who had to endure these issues, the studio has just kicked off a Double XP period for the Battlefield 4 multiplayer.

During this "Player Appreciation" event, according to the official Twitter, players will earn twice the regular amount of XP until December 5 across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
