Even though Battlefield 4 has received a lot of criticism for its disastrous launch and buggy online multiplayer experience, one aspect on which everyone can agree is that the first-person shooter has some gorgeous visuals, especially on high-end PCs.

YouTube user Hattiwatti, a long-standing Battlefield fan, shows how his Cinematic Tools mod can perform the miracle of turning a field of battle into a full-blown work of art. Developer DICE's Frostbite 3 engine is a work of art in itself, and aspiring filmmakers can take advantage of its great power with the aid of the Cinematic Tools mod.

"The new rewritten version brings new features like locking the camera onto weapons and bones of a player, getting rid of all borders as a spectator, freezing time, faster performance, better recording and more. The UI has been completely redesigned with help from Wirrew, making it a lot better and user-friendlier. Currently it only supports the 64-bit version of BF4, but a 32-bit version could be possible in the near future," Hattiwatti writes.

The showcase of the tools in action can be seen in the stunning video below, and if you think you have what it takes to become the next Battlefield director, you can download and check out the tools on the BF Cinematic Tools website. Be careful not to use it on Punkbuster-enabled servers though.
