The Batman video game series owes a lot to the various creators who handled the comic book incarnation of the character and now innovation is ready to flow in the other direction, with the announcement of DC2 Multiverse.

The comic book company says that the launch of Arkham Origins will coincide with the introduction of new concepts for motion comic and a new way of interacting with the stories.

Kotaku says that DC2 will introduce new graphics, better sound effects and impressive voice acting.

Readers will also be able to interact with the stories, with Kotaku citing one situation where fans need to choose whether to follow The Joker or Harley Quinn during a storyline.

Batman: Arkham Origins will explore the initial period of his career and will introduce a cast of new characters.

The game and DC2 will arrive on October 25 of this year.
