The development team at Warner Bros. working on Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate is delivering the first trailer for the game which shows actual gameplay taken from the new handheld bound experience.

The new game is designed as a companion piece for Arkham Origins and will be playable on October 25 of this year on the PlayStation Vita from Sony and the Nintendo 3DS.

The game is designed to include stealth based sections, free flow combat, much gadget use and all the core mechanics that the series has already made popular on the PC and on home consoles.

The video also offers some glimpses of the story of Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate, which will feature a fully voiced narrative and appearances from important allies and villains of the Dark Knight.

The team states, "After gang-fueled uprisings occur within the walls of Blackgate Prison, Batman is called in to restore order and put an end to the rebellion before the chaos implodes."
