The development team at Warner Bros. Games Montreal is no longer interested in working with Kevin Conroy for the voice of the main character of Batman: Arkham Origins.

A South African magazine cited by a fan site says that the studio is using a new voice actor in order to get a better fit for the age and the personality of the new Batman.

Kevin Conroy is best known for working on the Batman animated series in the ‘90s and for the work he has done on the previous two video games, adding a touch of grim determination to the well-known comic-book character.

Warner Bros. Games Montreal has not yet disclosed the name of the new Batman Arkham Origins voice actor.

The new title will be launched on October 25 of this year on the PC, the PlayStation 3, the Wii U and the Xbox 360.
