A new bit of information comes out regarding the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight, pointing to the fact that the things you destroy with the Batmobile stay that way and don't miraculously regenerate.

The news comes from a new preview from a German video games magazine that got a hold of a PC demo of the upcoming action-adventure title, revealing some new things about Rocksteady's game.

The main story is set one year after the events of Batman: Arkham City, and has Batman fighting Scarecrow, who plans to unite all of the Dark Knight's enemies in order to take down the vigilante once and for all.

Furthermore, a brand new villain will make an appearance, a mysterious figure who mocks everything that the Bat stands for, and who has taken control of Gotham with his army of goons, and will represent the hardest challenge that Bruce Wayne has ever had to face.

The preview from the German magazine reveals that everything that you destroy with the Batmobile stays dead for good, which means that you can change the environment of the city as you play.

The article states that this applies to everything, from building walls to streetlights, and that you'll also be playing as Bruce Wayne for a bit, although that part is a bit murky.

Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled to come out on June 2, worldwide, headed to Windows PC and the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 home entertainment systems.
