Large games retailer GameStop has just pinned a launch date to Batman: Arkham Knight, confirming that it will debut on October 14, 2014, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms.

Batman: Arkham Knight was revealed to the world yesterday by developer Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros. as a brand new entry in the prestigious Arkham series, offering a huge amount of upgrades over previous installments.

Unfortunately, details about the game's launch were scarce, to say the least, with Rocksteady only saying that it will debut for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One this fall.

Now, retailer GameStop has posted a listing for the game alongside an actual launch date of October 14, 2014.

The store also mentioned that those who pre-order until then would receive access to a special Harley Quinn-themed downloadable content pack that allows players to control the famous villain in four exclusive maps for the Challenge mode.

She will have special weapons, gadgets, and abilities for players to try out, so expect to learn more about the add-on soon.

As of yet, however, Rocksteady hasn't said whether the game will debut at that time or perhaps in a later point in fall. A confirmation should appear later in the year, probably at E3 2014.
