Kevin Conroy, the voice actor behind Batman, has confirmed that the next installment in the video game series, Batman: Arkham Knight, will be released in January of 2015.

Batman: Arkham Knight was announced to the world earlier this year and developer Rocksteady mentioned that it was targeting a fall 2014 release with the ambitious open world experience.

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, it mentioned that it was pushing back the release of Arkham Knight in order to polish the experience and make sure that it will live up to the legacy of the series.

The studio offered an early 2015 release period of the game and now Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman in the video game series, has revealed that Arkham Knight is set to appear in January of 2015.

While talking with GrooveyTV on YouTube, Conroy mentioned that, initially, Batman: Arkham Knight was set to appear in January of this year but, because it's so awesome, it was delayed one whole year.

"It was supposed to come out in January," he said. "We've been working on it for a year and a half, it's still not done. So it's going to come out next January, but I know everyone is frustrated. The reason it's been delayed is because it's so awesome."

As such, fans of the Dark Knight should make sure they have plenty of time in January to enjoy Arkham Knight. As of yet, Rocksteady hasn't commented on Conroy's statement.
