New missions for Batman might appear in the near future

Batman: Arkham City is set to receive quite a lot of downloadable content packs in the near future, and some might even bring new single-player missions for the game, not just new characters or challenge rooms.

Rocksteady and Warner Bros. released Batman: Arkham City into critical acclaim and great sales last week, so the companies are already hyping up upcoming downloadable add-ons for the title, like the Nightwing pack, which arrives next week, on November 1.

According to Rockstar Studios' game director, Sefton Hill, DLC for Arkham City might feature more than just challenge levels or avatar skins, as new missions for the single-player mode can't be confirmed or denied at this point.

When asked by The Guardian, Hill smiled and said that, "I don't think I'm allowed to talk about that at this stage."

While that's not a straightforward confirmation, given the popularity of Arkham City, new side-missions for Batman are possible.

The game is now available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, while the PC version is out on November 15.
