If you're into cars and racing video games, you're most likely already aware of the fact that Project Cars is one of the hottest upcoming titles to look out for.

However, it's far from being the only such game on the market, which sometimes makes it difficult to make a choice, especially if you're not partisan to a particular platform.

Assetto Corsa, from Kunos Simulationi, is another great racing simulation video game that aims to offer enthusiasts a high-fidelity experience, and a fellow gamer decided to put together a video comparison of it and Project Cars, trying to highlight the differences and similarities between them when it comes to graphics and sound.

The video shows a lap of the Mugello Circuit, the famous track from Tuscany, Italy, with the McLaren 12 GT3.

Project Cars developer Slightly Mad Studios plans to release the title on April 2, for the Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms. SteamOS and Wii U versions are also planned, to be released at a later date this year.

If you're looking for more alternatives, you can also give RaceRoom Racing Experience a try; it's a free-to-play game that's come a long way since its rocky launch at the beginning of 2013.
