Ubisoft has released a brand new video for the upcoming action adventure video game Assassin's Creed Unity, showing more footage of stealthy kills and jumping across rooftops.

The upcoming entry in the legendary Assassin's Creed series takes place in the wake of the French Revolution of 1789, showing a tumultuous Paris, rendered at an almost 1:1 scale in splendid detail.

The video shows developer Ubisoft Montreal's Vincent Pontbriand discussing how the team returned to the core pillars of the franchise when building Assassin's Creed Unity, with everything, from navigation through the city to combat and stealth, taking full advantage of the power of the next-gen systems.

The game will be the first entry in the series that allows gamers to band together and tackle the campaign missions in cooperative multiplayer, but every mission will be completely soloable.

The upcoming action adventure game focuses on freedom of choice, allowing players to choose from a multitude of different paths when it comes to how they should accomplish the objectives of their current mission.

Furthermore, the exploration of Paris will also extend to building interiors, and the entire adventure has been designed to have such a size and scope that gamers are bound to feel awed and even overwhelmed when launching the game for the first time.

Assassin's Creed Unity is currently scheduled to come out on October 28, headed for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
