The development team at Ubisoft is delivering a third big developer diary for Assassin's Creed Unity, which focuses on the way the game will enhance the open world mechanics of the series and will immerse the player in the world of the French Revolution.

The footage shows new gameplay sequences and reveals just how deep the studios involved with the title have explored the historical period that is being simulated in order to make sure that gamers get an interesting set of gameplay experiences.

Assassin's Creed Unity is taking players to the period of the French Revolution and allows them to experience the most important moments of the historical events, while showing an unknown side of the popular movement.

Playing as Arno, gamers will be able to see who is controlling the masses and then fight to make sure that the spirit of freedom lives on.

Assassin's Creed Unity is an open world game that includes a complex simulation of historical Paris and expands the arsenal of weapons and moves that gamers can use in order to tackle every situation.

Ubisoft is also working on another title in the series, called Rogue, which will launch later in November on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 and includes some cross-over story content.
