The development team at Ubisoft Annecy working on the multiplayer side of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag says that it has one year’s worth of content already prepared for the title, designed to make sure that fans are kept interested in the long term.

Damien Kieken, the game director, tells VG247 that, “It’s a bit like on AC3. We’re doing events every month. I don’t want to spoil everything, but I think people will be very happy with the rewards.”

A big team at the studio is designated to only offer support for the multiplayer side of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, to make sure that the experience is always balanced and engaging.

This is the first time in the history of the series when so much resources have been dedicated to the multiplayer modes.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be launched in late October and early November on the PC and current-gen consoles.

Versions for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 will be delivered at a later date.
