Ubisoft has announced that an Assassin’s Creed inspired board game will come out by the end of the month, challenging 2 to 4 players to compete against each other in various scenarios.

The game is titled Assassin’s Creed: Arena, and has been developed by Cryptozoic Entertainment, a premier board game developer and publisher with several notable franchise adaptations under its belt.

Assassin’s Creed: Arena will join the likes of Ender’s Game Battle School, The Walking Dead Board Game, Hawken: The Real-Time Card Game, Capcom Street Fighter Deck-Building Game and many others, in delivering a popular fantasy universe to the tabletop gaming world.

The upcoming production is a strategy game set in Constantinople, allowing players to take on the role of Templars from Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and then sneakily make their way across the city’s rooftops, avoiding guards and securing kills.

The Ubisoft blog post warns that the game is designed for players over 15 years old, on account of its mature content and complex rules, and also offers detailed information regarding turn sequence and player interactions.
