Freedom Cry, the new Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag DLC, will be available on December 18 on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 and on December 17 on the Xbox Live for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

Part of the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Season Pass, Freedom Cry brings nine new missions detailing a stand-alone storyline featuring assassin Adewale, Edward Kenway's first mate. Born a slave, Adewale rose to freedom and found a new life aboard the Jackdaw.

Fifteen years after, he has become a full-fledged assassin and the campaign starts with him finding himself shipwrecked in Saint-Domingue, with no weapon or crew, as reported by AGB.

The Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Season Pass is also available for download and includes both Freedom Cry as well as the Kraken Ship Pack, an exclusive download including additional single-player missions, weapon, skins and collectibles.

It also includes the Blackbeard's Wrath add-on content and new characters for a more varied multiplayer experience.
