Ubisoft has just confirmed that Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag now has a single global release date for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, of October 29, and it has also posted a brand new story video focusing on protagonist Edward Kenway.

Assassin's Creed 4 is set to debut later this month for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and, up until now, it had a staggered release schedule in North America and the rest of the world.

Now, Ubisoft has confirmed through a statement that Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag launches globally on October 29 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

The game will debut in November for the PC, Wii U, PS4, and Xbox One.

In order to make the wait more bearable, a special new story trailer has just appeared, focusing on the new protagonist of the game, Edward Kenway, and just how he became the legendary pirate assassin.
