The team at ArenaNet working on Guild Wars 2 announces that it plans to start delivering updates for the MMO every two weeks, down from the current period of 21 days, in order to deliver more content and better balancing for the community.

Mike Zadorojny, the lead content designer, tells GamerZines that, “It’s a marathon not a sprint and we’ve been getting better with each of our releases, in terms of how we budget, how we plan it out, how we manage personnel etc.”

Apparently, ArenaNet has four separate smaller teams working on Living World quests in order to make sure that players have always something new to look forward to in Guild Wars 2.

The developer says that the two-week period almost makes the MMO like the television show.

Guild Wars 2 does not charge a subscription and players only have to pay for the initial retail package.
