The first victim of the aggressive hackers is Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg

Activision has managed to draw the wrath of infamous hacker collective Anonymous, after one of its promotional videos for Call of Duty: Black Ops II talked about terrorists and showed an image of a man wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, the typical trademark of Anonymous.

Hacking became a serious problem last year for the gaming industry, after various collectives, like LulzSec, started attacking different companies.

Anonymous was among the accused, as Sony said that it found evidence against the group of hackers after investigating the aftermath of its PSN breach.

Now, another videogame company has pointed the finger at Anonymous, as Activision presented a man wearing a Guy Fawkes mask during one of its promotional videos for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, effectively calling him and, implicitly, Anonymous, terrorists.

This hasn’t gone well with the collective, as it has now released a video in which they respond to Activision. What’s more, in order to strike fear into the company, the video also shows a bunch of private information about Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg, from his home address to how much money he earned last year.

As of yet, Activision hasn’t released a statement about this Anonymous problem.
