Andrew House, the chief executive officer of Sony Computer Entertainment, says that after the successful launch of the PlayStation 4, his main concern is to make sure that units of the new console are available on all markets all through the holiday shopping season.

He tells Game Informer that, “we’re not engendering frustration by having a shortage of supply. I think through the holiday season that we’ll be in good supply.”

The CEO says that Sony is sticking by its initial estimate that it will sell at least 5 million PlayStation 4 devices before the end of March 2014.

The platform will be offered to European players on November 22.

There were reports of issues with some of the launch consoles, but Sony says that the margin of error is within its initial estimates and that most gamers have been able to enjoy using the PlayStation 4 without any problems.
